I just purchased the ottoman and it has far too much shine to it. I want to age it up a little bit. It is real leather.

my 2 yr old had some fun with my 6 yr old's markers!!! never had this happen before, how do i remove the damage without causing more? unfortunately these are artist's markers not crayola washable (hubby is an artist- we have the real deal) does anyone know for sure if magic eraser is safe on leather???

I have a leather ottoman with leather covered buttons. The leather and 'cap' came off of one of the buttons; however the base of the button remains intact. I cannot figure out how to reattach the leather covering and cap back onto the button base. Any advice? Thanks!

Sofa is chocolate brown leather, ottoman is a swirly/marble chestnut color. Both pieces have similar legs.

We recently purchased a brown leather/microfiber sctional. We have several natural color bookshelves and a mahogany tv cabinet in the room. The question is, would a dark brown leather ottoman be too much brown? Would a contrast like black be better. I am looking at a black leather ottoman from target. (it also comes in brown). I recently purchased faux-leather ottomans and they reek of chemicals, especially petroleum. They have been airing out for almost 2 weeks, and the smell is just as strong as day one.

I have a modern gray sofa and looking for an ottoman (rather then a coffee table). My side tables are round with a glass top and espresso color wood lining the glass and the legs. The color of my media console is also Espresso. Will an Espresso color ottoman work? If not, do you have a color suggestion?

Trying to clean a little bit for Christmas and normally I just give it a wipe with a wet cloth...but I am noticing a lot of stuff that is more stuck on and hasn't come off with just a wet cloth. Suggestions? I'm figuring not to use any harsh cleaners...can I really dilute down some Mr. Clean?

I recently inherited a leather ottoman from my grandfather and it smells of cigarettes. I have tried wiping it down with Lysol cleaner, but it doesn't seem to work. I think the smell is soaked deep through out the ottoman. I really love this ottoman and don't wanna get rid of it if I don't have to. Any Suggestions?

I'm mystified as to how people put the ends of knotted hemp together to form shapes, rings, etc. I would like to try to make a peace sign for a necklace, and also a ring, but so far I can only make straight things like necklaces and bracelets. How do people make shapes and rings? I know how to do the square, zigzag, overhand, half, and spiral knots. I just can't figure out how to put the shape together.

I have two cement columns in my condo. They're probably 2 feet in diameter. One column has a quarter round while the other doesn't because the flooring is carpet. I removed the carpet and it is now laminate but I can't find a quarter round to go around my column. I tried vinyl but it snaps everytime I tried to secure it to the column? Any suggestions? A different type of material? Some type of pre-treatment like steaming a wood quater round? Etc?
