How much do you spend on your childrens parties?
am thinking about starting my own party planning buisness for childrens partys that include entertainment, decorations, set up, clean up, invitations, thank you notes and food. I was just curious to see how much parents usally spend on their childrens birthdays not including the birthday present.

Oh and also if you do to a arcade or amusement bowling or where ever you go how much do you spend on those kind of partys?

Start calling those places and ask their prices on birthday parties. Then go to local stores for decorations, cakes, etc. Price all that.

Then you'll figure it out.

If you're really wanting to start a business and depend on this site to actually make a decision - you're already doomed.
well i usually spend a total of 150.00 present/cake/food! i have 3 young boys! we totally love doing b-day parties! but we never go broke to enjoy one!
I just did party for my daughter last month, we rented a place for few hours that had a big bouce house, arcade games and party room. The whole thing costed me about 400 bucks, that includes the hall, food, goddiebags, cake, invites . it was great and I did not have to clean up.
I usually spend from $200-$300
we just had a bowling party for my son and they charged $17.00 per child and that included, food, drink, balloons, paperware, bowling and rental shoes, a bowling pin for friends to sign and my son to keep, and 4 tokens for the arcade for each kid. All we had to bring was the cake.

My son only invited 6 kids and with him made 7 kids and the total came to about $120.00.
We just had my daughter's 9th birthday and we spent about $200, but this year was special because we may be moving away and wanted it to be extra memorable. Usually we spend around $100. What we did this year was have lunch at a Chinese restaurant with all her friends. The girls loved it...it was very "grown up".
